Purringcats offers you a dedicated and personalised home and cat care service.
As I’m a freelancer, you will receive a legal invoice for payment of the services contracted.
Below is a breakdown of the standard cost of my services, but I encourage you to enquire and request a personalised quote for your specific needs, as I can then take into account the time period you require and apply a discount where possible.
- These rates include the care of up to TWO cats in the same home.
- All amounts quoted include BTW.
- Payment must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of the service.
Standard costs:
Prices include stay overnight with the cat and maximum daytime availability as possible.
Important:
The day starts at 12 noon or later on the service start date and ends at 12 noon on the service end date. This is convenient for you, as I don’t count the day by date, and it gives me time to attend to another service, either before or after. If you need me to stay after midday on the final day, and until 8pm maximum, not including the night, you will be charged the extra half day rate. This is subject to my availability and if I don’t have a previously scheduled service starting on the same day. In any case, you will know when I send you the quote.
These regular prices are for “New Clients” and “Premium Clients”.
You become a Premium client if you have booked my services three or more times.
I may apply special discounts for periods longer than two weeks.

- Introduction meeting with key collection = free of charge
- Day:
- New client = 45 euros
- Premium client = 42 euros
- Week:
- New client = 300 euros
- Premium client = 260 euros
- Last minute day booked or extra day (if possible):
- New client = 50 euros
- Premium client = 45 euros
- Extra Cat surcharge = 5 euros per cat (important: we do not accept more than 4 cats)
- Holiday surcharge = plus 25 euro per day
- (Christmas: 24, 25 & 26 Dec. / New Year’s Eve: 31 Dec / New Year’s Day: 01 Jan / King’s Day; en of April)
- Return of keys to post box = free of charge
- Collection and/or return of keys on another day than the visit, in person = 10 Euros
- Post collection = free of charge
- Watering of indoor plants – free of charge
- Small garden watering – free of charge
- Cancellations:
- Up to 15 days before the scheduled date = free of charge
- Between 15 and 7 days before the first scheduled date, for bookings of LESS than one week = 40% of the total amount
- Between 15 and 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, for bookings of MORE than one week = 20% of the total amount
- Between 7 and 1 days before the scheduled start date, for bookings of LESS than one week = 50% of the total amount
- Between 7 and 1 days before the scheduled start date, for bookings of MORE than one week = 25% of the total amount.
- Cancellation on the SAME day as the scheduled start date = 75% of the total amount.
Exceptional services:
- Daily visit WITHOUT overnight stay – I do NOT normally offer this service, except in special circumstances, as I travel by public transport and it is usually difficult to coordinate due to distance and time with my full service and/or other activities, in addition to implying a significant transport cost that I must add to the rate, which makes them more expensive compared to other cat sitters in your area.
- However, I’m always open to discussing your particular case with you, to analyse together whether it is possible to offer you this service, if it is easily accessible and/or compatible with my current service. In any case, it is important that you know that I CAN’T offer you more than one visit per day.
- Important:
In the event that I can offer you a daily visit, I will offer it continuously, I will not offer visits at intervals, i.e. if you are going away for a week and you want me to visit your cat every other day, I will not offer you this service as I consider it a responsibility for the cat’s welfare that I do not wish to take on.
- Extra cleaning or gardening – 20 euros per hour (hours are agreed in advance depending on the size of the house and the wishes of the person hiring the service – this service is subject to my availability to offer it to you).
