SERVICES NOT INCLUDED:

a) The complete cleaning of your house –

I will keep the areas and items that I use during my stay to care for your cat clean, but I will not be responsible for cleaning other areas or items in the rest of your home. I understand that this is your job or the job of another person who provides this service for you.

If you do not have this available, are leaving for a long period of time and would prefer me to clean your whole house to find it clean when you return, we can discuss this subject to my availability and for an additional charge.

b) Food and treats –

If you are going out for a long period, please ensure that you leave enough supplies of these items.

In the doubt, you can also leave me some money for any unexpected food purchases that I may need to make for your cat. This money will only be used for this purpose if necessary and you will receive the tickets, but I prefer the first option, especially if your cat’s food is not from the supermarket, because that means time and travel for me.

c) Litter –

Please provide enough litter for your cat for the period of your absence. It’s important that I’m able to give your cat a good cleaning and change of litter, but due to a health condition I’m unable to carry weight and the litter bags are very heavy.

d) Veterinary costs –

Sorry, but I can’t take your cat to an outside vet if she/he is ill.

If your cat becomes ill while you are away, it is important that someone you trust (family member or friend) can take your cat to your regular vet (I cannot do this as I am unable to carry weight due to an accident).

It is also possible to call HOMEVET, a mobile vet service that will travel to your home, in which case I will inform you of this option, depending on the availability of their vets and the urgency of your cat, so that you can authorise and pay for the care.

e) Medication –

If your cat is on oral medication I can administer it but I do NOT give injections. You must provide me with sufficient medication for the duration of the service.

f) Outings –

I will not accept service for cats that go out into the street. I will only look after indoor cats that can go out onto a balcony, terrace or fenced and protected garden.

g) Extra services –

My service will include brushing and combing the cat and removing eye boogers (if the cat needs or allows it) but does NOT include extra services such as nail trimming, teeth brushing or ear cleaning.
